St. Tammany Parish Hospital
Employed for the purpose of enhancing the nature and quality of care for acute and chronically ill adult and geriatric population. Works under the supervision of approved staff physician in planning, implementation and evaluation of medical and nursing care. Major areas of responsibility include: cardiology and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization of all critically ill patients, patient education and discharge planning.
Minimum Qualifications:Masters degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner certification, Current Louisiana State Licensure as an APRN, BCLS/ACLS Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years of related experience preferred.
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 10 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
