Job Description

Assists with employee health and employee wellness nursing duties such as administering vaccines, blood pressures, vital signs, new hire interviews, blood draws, and infection prevention duties such as hand hygiene, PPE, and transmission precautions monitoring as needed by the department head of infection prevention. Performs clerical duties as needed for employee health and employee wellness assessments. Assists in the collection of data, data maintenance and compilation of data into reports for the department.

Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma and currently LPN licensed. BLS through the American Heart Association. Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry. Good command of the spoken and written English language; Good people and communication skills; Ability to organize and prioritize work from all employees in the department.

Preferred Qualifications:Medical terminology and/or previous experience in the healthcare field preferred.

Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 10 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
