We have a multi-disciplined ultrasound department specializing in general, ob/gyn, small parts, breast, high risk ob (maternal fetal medicine), and ultrasound guided invasive procedures. We work very closely with our radiologist and have their full support to provide exceptional care to our patients and customers. We staff our hospital 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our Women's Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology and we do breast ultrasounds and ultrasound guided breast core biopsies.
We have a very unique opportunity for an ultrasound tech to work in the hospital and outpatient clinic environment. Also, there is an opportunity to cross train into high risk obstetrical ultrasound. We staff the ultrasound department around the clock, so there is very little call if any at all.

We offer the opportunity to train in ob/gyn and high risk obstetrics as a specialty. We also do many ultrasound guided invasive procedures which one could benefit from learning.
We work in a very unique ultrasound department within a great radiology department. We are also affiliated with multiple ultrasound programs and are involved in teaching future colleagues. We work with a great Radiology group that offers any ultrasound tech the needed constructive criticism to further ones career.
JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION:
Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with unit based standards of practice.
Demonstrates correct and safe operation of ultrasound equipment.
Practices effective communication that enhances teamwork and quality of care.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Completion of Ultrasound program required
SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
ARDMS Certification preferred.
