Job Description

The Receptionist/Insurance Clerk processes patients from appointment to registration according to Lake Charles Medical Services policies and procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Previous medical office experience preferred
Advanced computer skills; Adequate keyboarding skills (40 words per minute typing rate).
Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel
Requires emotional stability and resilience, must be adaptable to change and receptive to delegated responsibilities
