The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides health care services, applying radioactive isotopes to assist in diagnosis or treatment of human disorders. Performs nuclear medicine procedures and related functions, producing images for the interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Performs TPD to assure throughput and complete study in RIS before sending images to QCWSTN. Properly manages exam descriptions, error message and dates. Properly performs PACS check according to RIS/PAC tips checklist. Properly perform Teleradiology. Graduate of accredited nuclear medicine program or equivalent. Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists/Nuclear Medicine Division or eligible. Valid Louisiana license.
