Job Description

Responsible for strategic vision, long term planning, direction and overall accountability for system-wide functions. Communicates and interprets organizational and departmental mission goals and objectives to all areas of responsibility. Provides leadership and direction in the planning, implementation, and evaluation activities of all areas of responsibility.

Other major responsibilities include: oversight of the daily operations of the warehouse-based and retail store operations, management of the Warehouse, Delivery, Intake, Respiratory, Marketing, Billing and Clinic Services, Management of the activities of outside billing services, preparation of Medicare, Managed Care and Licensing documents, development of Annual Budget, presentations during Monthly Operations Reviews and other presentations to Senior Management, evaluating performance of leaders, establishment of annual goals and objectives for department, develop a three year strategic plan, collaborate with health system management and physicians in establishing new programs, partner with Marketing, Human Resources, Financial and Accounting functions to support division goals and objectives, manage and coordinate all business contracts, manage vendor relations including negotiation of contracts, coordinate activities of outside consultants, and represent the department at all health system meetings.
