Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The OLI Consultant is responsible for overseeing Ochsner Learning Institute course offerings (Nomination & Professional Skills). Manages the content of OLI courses to ensure that course offerings are consistent the OLI methodology and practices. Collaborates and acts as a liaison to ensure that training and education programs are synchronized in terms of timing and audience, are compliant with local laws and regulatory requirements, and are rolled out and positioned to meet business needs. Ensures course materials are current and relevant. Develops evaluation instruments for training and education programs. Conducts internal and external benchmarking activities, as well as, manages vendor relationships and third party providers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree with 5-6 years experience in operations or provider healthcare. Master Degree Preferred. Proven project management experience. Experience working with virtual learning platforms, an understanding of adult learning principles, and an understanding of various learning methods (classroom, online, self-study). Experience in developing and evolving a learning strategy while appropriately utilizing technology. Deep expertise in training and education development/design, people development, and adult learning. Proven experience in developing and evolving a learning strategy while appropriately utilizing, vendors, technology, and methodologies. Experience in leading learning programs from design to development to deployment.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of HR, learning strategy and people development trends within a large scale (10,000-13,000ee) regulated industry. Strong analytical skills (business case development). Strong technical skills and experience with online learning tools. Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills. Broad HR knowledge (across all HR functions/processes). Excellent time management & project management skills. Proven experience at leading large learning projects and initiatives. Strong understanding of performance and talent strategies.
