Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Director and/or Staff Pharmacist assists in the packaging, preparation, maintenance and distribution of medications to patient care units.
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Permit as a Pharmacy Technician by the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy when eligibleB. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.C. Experience: One year of Hospital Pharmacy experience preferableD. Special Qualifications: Moderately proficient in the use of computer keyboard/terminal, 10-key/electronic calculator and electric typewriter. Typing 20-30 wpm.
