The Baton Rouge General is seeking an experienced supervisor for its Admissions/ER Registration department. Desired candidate will have prior experience in hospital registration, hospital management, and/or have clinical healthcare management experience. Must be familiar with payer rules and Regulations including Medicare/Medicaid. Education/Experience Requirements:
Two years supervisory experience in Healthcare Registration, Insurance verification in a acute-care Hospital setting.
CHAM certification preferred
Intermediate computer skills with thorough knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations
Must be avaiable to work Night shift (7pm until 3am) and some call responsibilties for holidays
Full-time
7:00 PM - 3:00 AM and some weekend call
