Responsible for receiving of patients into lab / radiology waiting area, notification of radiology staff of patients waiting : Order entry documentation of lab orders and collection of blood specimens.
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana State License preferredB. Education: High School Graduate; Graduate of a technical school of phlebotomy and/or on the job trainingC. Experience : Previous hospital clerical as well as phlebotomy experience preferred.D. Special Qualifications: Ability to interact directly with a variety of people on a professional basis. Typing ability with emphasis on accuracy rather than speed
