Responsible for the planning, assessment, and implementation of total patient care for the patients on 2 East and 1 East. Assists in coordinating direct/indirect patient care with other departments. Demonstrates appropriate independent judgment and decision making skills for assigned patients and works in collaboration with interdisciplinary team.
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Louisiana RN licenseB. Education: Completion of state approved Registered Nursing ProgramC. Experience: One year of nursing experience preferredD. Special Qualifications: Completion of 2 East and 1 East skills checklist within 90 days of employment. (For demonstration of less frequent skill, an extended period of time may be given, as determined by Preceptor and Department Director.
