Job Description

The Registered and/or Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist will provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology Department Policy and Procedure Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks, and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs. Participates in Cardiovascular Continuous Quality Improvement.

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Certification- Current CPR, Healthcare provider.B. Education: Graduate of an AMA approved program.C. Experience: None required, six (6) months or greater is preferred.D. Special Qualifications: Good communication skills, computer skills are helpful. Ability to work with others as a team to promote quality patient care.
