Rapides Regional Medical Center will continue to maintain its place as the leader in healthcare for central Louisiana. The hospital is currently completed a $50 million expansion which included a new four story building housing a state-of-the-art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit as well as two additional patient floors with 72 new beds. Future projects will include growth in the areas of oncology, cardiology and Rapides Women's & Children's Hospital services.
